In keyboard land (where I reside the most these days). On the very edges of dreamland. Laughing

Your dream gear UF70

The current set of keys for favorite keyboard player, Andrea De Paoli.

And because I'm such a prog fan

Your dream gear _MOOG

A Moog would be spiffy Smile

Just to pick two...there's a lot I'd like if I had about 50 grand to spare.

Well, certainly $1,000 easy for a really good rig.

Now, the rarer stuff (such as the ones I posted) will go in the stratosphere.

I'd like one of those Ibanez Artcore hollowbody-electrics, an Ibanez S470 so I can down tune it to C#, a much nicer straight up acoustic guitar (or one of those Ibanez acoustic-electric... jeez, I sound like an Ibanez geek, haha), a Yamaha keyboard (which I'll hopefully be getting soon.. just something to practice the jazz stuff on) and my Marshall to stop crapping out.

Oh, and a Mac would be nice with a firepod and some sweet studio monitors. If I manage to move out I'll set up a studio too instead of recording in my room with all of my crap lying around.

Your dream gear Empty Re: Your dream gear

Heh....I'd settle for a recording area.

I'm pretty happy with my tone, overall, for my type of rhythm work. about all I'm REALLY jonesing for is the proper cabs and whatnot to take what I've basically got, and take it to the next level, clarity wise. a full stack, involving a 4x12 with a low cut built in, and a 2x15 with a high cut built in would probably do it......as far as heads go, I'd either simply re-wire the existing speaker leads on the Bandit to function as a speaker out, or locate one of the old Peavey Supreme heads from around the same timeframe.

Of course, if we're talking unlimited funds, I'll take a Ken Lawrence Explorer (neckthru, mahogany bodu and neck, walnut top, with an Ebony board, single EMG 81 in the bridge), a Larry Grohman custom amp voiced just like Jon Shaffer's, a hot rodded JCM 800, and a full stack setup (a 4x12 slant top, with a 2x15 bottom wired with a high end cut) for each head Razz

Well, my guitar I'm already pretty happy with.... I just need a bunch more like it, some with different paint jobs..

Your dream gear Bangfriday1107hill

Duncan Phat Cat P-90 in neck, Duncan Dimebag in bridge.... cool knobs.. 'Condition Blue' controlling the neck volume and 'Condition Black' controlling the bridge.

What I really, really want.........is an amp that actually has a super super rich, good, non-modern/core guitar tone all on it's own, no need for additional pedal....which is what I use now..it isn't the most ideal.. but it does beat the crap out of what's out there and affordable in terms of richness.

I want this:

Your dream gear Invader_150_site

and one of those huge Boogie cabinets with the Black Shadow speakers.

We should start a metal institute, and force people to donate to us. First money, then goats.

Yeah, we could have like the trick-or-treat for unicef kids. But instead of the little box, people would be dropping their money in a severed head.

Dude, I'm all about the severed head! But there's one thing missing... They should stick their hand with the money in a guillotine! It'll bring new meaning to "giving us a hand."
