First of all, I haven't been to this board in a while. I blame Bryan.. Haha. Secondly, over spring break I've had some little epiphanies.

School-wise, I'm slacking big time. I really don't care anymore, because when I really think about it what am I going to do with a degree in music? Sure I'll probably get paid slightly more than the average joe I guess. I'm not dropping out, but I'm going to take a break, because I want to get the band going and just play the hell out of this town ...

Obama is promising to increase stem cell research financing on aborted babies. In my mind this is as barbaric as anything the Nazis did. Let's kill the unborn and then harvest parts. Also they are now saying he will let up to half the prisoners at gitmo go. That's a smart move and oh, where will you move the rest? Going to be a bad deal in my mind. And even though 30 states have now voted in anti gay marriage laws I bet he will ram it through. Gahhhhhh. I don't think he's the anti-christ but ...

Lately though, I've been listening to their two Steve Morse Albums. Power and In The Spirit of Things. I love ITSOT so much. Maybe because it's a little nostalgic for me, but still, Steve Morse is a killer guitar player!

Their 70's era prog stuff is just amazing. Also, their 2000 album, Somewhere to elsewhere is just as good as any of ...

I've got a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100 and I've been having issues with it and haven't played it for a little over a year-and-a-half (due to this issue as well as school and other such things). What happens is that whenever I have it running through my Marshall 1960A cabinet, whenever playing at a practice/show volume, the amp will tend to cut out - the effect is as if a wire ...

..the way I want it to. Umm..... So I decided to

do a few chores before I go into work tonight. When I use my vacuum it

just makes the little pieces of stuff on the floor hop around, and

doesn't actually suck up very much. Ok, so I payed $100 for it at

Wal-Mart. That might be the problem. I checked all the tubes and the

belt. All working. I'm thinking it's time to invest in a better vacuum.

So I know this post is completely pointless, but I don't care.

Ok, so I only own three JP albums, but I just listened to them all back to back. I own Stained Class, Painkiller, and Screaming For Vengeance. I really love them all! Great heavy metal ahead of it's time. I heard Painkiller(the song) on the radio for the first time and it really blew me away. I didn't know that JP was that metal, so I went out and bought the album and it really surprised me at how good it is. I really need to get some more JP albums soon.
